Zemlja u previranju

Immanuel Velikovsky

Earth in Turmoil is a documented account of the global catastrophes that ravaged the Earth up to 3,500 years ago, causing major changes both to the Earth's geophysical surface and to the evolution of its bio-world.

Dr. Immanuel Velikovsky's books have resonated all over the world, challenging the beliefs of orthodox science. In his arguments, Velikovsky relies on direct and solid evidence: fossils, geomorphic remains, tectonic disturbances. It starts from the view that the destruction of many living beings as well as entire animal species took place not only in the conditions of rivalry and struggle for survival, but also in the conditions of catastrophic events, which alone can explain some phenomena, otherwise completely inexplicable from the evolutionary point of view. A number of phenomena such as sudden changes in climate, sea penetration into the soil, rising and lowering of banks, the emergence of new species, can only be explained by extraterrestrial causes, as evidenced by Velikovsky's book.
