Paula Bobanović

The honest confession of the biggest Croatian sports star

"Blanka's story" is an autobiographical book by Blanka Vlašić, one of the most successful Croatian athletes, which she wrote in collaboration with Paula Bobanović. Published in 2008, the book provides an honest and detailed insight into Blanka's life, from her childhood in Split to her conquest of the world's top athletics. In the book, Blanka openly talks about growing up, first crushes and loves, and about personal challenges such as jealousy and possessiveness. He particularly looks at the complex relationship with his father and coach, Joško Vlašić, and the process of his independence. She also shares experiences related to media controversies, such as an unfortunate topless photo, and describes the sports, medical and life obstacles she had to overcome on her way to the top.
