Penkala leti

Penkala leti

Boris Puhlovski

Penkala leti is a monograph about our versatile inventor Eduard Slavoljub Penkala.

He patented around eighty mechanical and chemical inventions: from the mechanical pencil, various devices and chemical preparations to the construction of the first airplane in Croatia. He flew it from the airfield in Črnomerec back in 1910 - just a few years after the Wright brothers' first flights. The monograph is richly illustrated with photographs, original drawings and facsimiles.
