Zmajeve linije: Energetske mreže Zemlje

Marko Pogačnik, William Bloom

Marko Pogačnik's book, co-authored with William Bloom, explores the concept of the Earth's energy meridians, known as dragon lines or ley lines, with a special focus on Istria.

Pogačnik, a Slovenian artist and geomancer, claims that the Earth possesses a network of energy flows that connect places of historical, spiritual and geographical importance, such as megalithic monuments, sanctuaries and natural sites.

The book explains that dragon lines transmit positive energy, encouraging spiritual progress, creativity and well-being. The intersections of these lines, such as Motovun in Istria, are considered places of special energetic power. Pogačnik specifically analyzes the Istrian landscape, connecting energy flows with archaeological sites such as the stone circles at Mordela, which resemble Stonehenge, and with cities such as Poreč and Kamenjak. He suggests that ancient civilizations built sanctuaries at these sites because of their ability to facilitate healing and spiritual connection.

Pogačnik introduces the concept of lithopuncture, a method of harmonizing the Earth's energy, and connects dragon lines with cosmic patterns, such as the constellation Capricorn in Istria. The book emphasizes the mutual relationship between man and the Earth, calling for the conscious use of these energies for personal and planetary development. Although the ideas are appealing, critics often classify them as pseudoscience due to the lack of scientific evidence.
