Oče naš blagoslovi nas

Oče naš blagoslovi nas

Andreas Baur

Our Father, Bless Us is a spiritual-theological work by the German priest and writer Andreas Baur.

Baur writes simply and warmly, with poetic touches and rhetorical questions, ideal for laypeople and priests. The language is accessible, with a Croatian translation that retains its spiritual warmth. The book is significant in Croatian pastoral literature in the 1980s, during the communist pressure on the Church, where it serves as a consolation and spiritual guide. Critics (e.g. in Crkvene novine or reviews in Glas Koncila) praise it as an "intimate meditation", comparing it to works on prayer such as Henri Nouwen's Prayer of the Heart or Croatian authors such as Fr. Vjekoslav Bernardić.
