It's time to accept the fact that Greg Heffley will never stop being a jerk. But someone needs to explain that to his father. You see, Frank Heffley really thinks he can help his son toughen up, and he even goes so far as to enroll him in organized sports and other "manly" activities. Of course, Greg will skillfully dodge his father's attempts to change him in any way. But when his dad threatens to send him to a military academy, Greg will realize it's time to get his act together. Either that or move out.
