Nastavni plan i program škole skijanja

Nastavni plan i program škole skijanja

Milko Mejovšek

The book emphasizes the importance of gradualism, individualization, and a proper biomechanical approach, and ends with suggestions for ready-made weekly and daily work plans for ski schools.

The basic idea of the book is to present a systematic, progressive and safety-oriented process of learning skiing skills – from complete beginners to advanced skiers. The author organizes the lessons into logical phases of acquiring motor skills, with each phase building on the previous one: from basic balance exercises, first glides and stops, through basic and parallel turns, all the way to techniques for more demanding terrain. In doing so, he describes the goals, tasks, methodological procedures, typical mistakes and ways to correct them.
