The lullabies in this selection were created following records from the past to the present day, collected and stored at the Institute of Ethnology and Folklore Studies in Zagreb.

Through the hard work of ethnologists, lullabies that our grandmothers and great-grandmothers used to lull their children to sleep have been collected. Having selected the most beautiful from all over Croatia, Tanja Perić-Polonijo has compiled a collection of lullabies that reflect the beauty of folk expression and the love of mothers and grandmothers that not even centuries can change.
