100 bullets: Six feet under the gun

100 bullets: Six feet under the gun

Brian Azzarello, Eduardo Risso

Eine Waffe und Munition geben demjenigen, der sie benutzt, die Möglichkeit, ohne rechtliche Konsequenzen zu handeln, über dem Gesetz zu stehen und ... Rache zu üben? Unrecht wiedergutzumachen?

The graphic novel "100 Bullets" by screenwriter Brian Azarel and cartoonist Eduardo Ris, and the most successful result of the duo's collaboration, is a series of darkly humorous and tragic stories in which themes such as fatherhood, baseball and organized crime intertwine. These are stories about cursed people from the margins of society, who slide through life by inertia, until they meet a man known only as Agent Graves, who will irreversibly change their lives. A cross between the archangel Gabriel and an old-fashioned security guard, the ghostly Graves enters their lives with a large-caliber pistol and 100 untraceable bullets. What does it offer them? An opportunity. A chance to take revenge - or a chance to redeem themselves. It is precisely because of the dichotomy between these two choices that "100 Bullets: High and Low" is a comic book that captivates the reader so much. Although untraceable bullets provide immunity from the law, the protagonists discover that they cannot protect themselves from the moral consequences of their actions.
