The 1980 album "Doživjeti stotu" by the band Bijelo dugme marks a major stylistic shift towards new wave. The Jugoton release features hits such as "Ha, ha, ha" and "Pristao sam biću sve što hoće".

The compilation "Zaplesimo! 16 Originalnih Hitova" was released in the 1980s by Jugoton. It brings a selection of popular dance and pop-rock hits by domestic artists of the time for a crazy party.
The debut album "Boa" by the Zagreb band of the same name was released in early 1982 for Suzy. Recorded in Sweden, it brings sophisticated art-rock, synth-pop and new wave with the influence of Western trends.
