The textbook Methodology of Experimental Scientific Work (1974) by the distinguished geneticist and plant breeder, academician Slavko Borojević, is a fundamental work in the field of methodology of scientific research work in biotechnical, agronomic and biological sciences. In it, the author systematically guides the researcher through all phases of a scientific experiment — from defining a hypothesis and developing a research plan to the final analysis, interpretation and publication of the results obtained. The book places special emphasis on biometrics, statistical planning and experimental designs that ensure the reliability and accuracy of research.
