Zagor LU #265: Preko granice svijeta
Escaped convicts seize the Marilena, but Zagor fights back. The conflict moves from the ship to Tierra del Fuego, where escape becomes a struggle for survival.
Preko granice svijeta continues the adventure begun in Ognjena zemlja. At the southern tip of South America, a shipboard takeover becomes a struggle for survival, pitting Zagor against men whose desperate pursuit of freedom leaves little room for restraint.
Convicts who have escaped from Punta Arenas prison seize the sailing ship Marilena. They intend to cross the Strait of Magellan and head towards northern Chile, but Zagor’s resistance threatens their plans.
Burattini develops the story through changing settings and shifting advantages. The vessel intended to secure the fugitives’ escape becomes a battleground, before danger takes a different form in unfamiliar territory. Maritime suspense gives way to the uncertainty of an expedition, with rumours and fear shaping the characters’ choices.
Giuseppe Prisco’s artwork contrasts confined shipboard spaces with the harsh southern landscape. Movement, physical effort and rapidly changing circumstances drive the action, making survival a matter of more than strength alone.
This is the middle chapter of the trilogy spanning Ludens #264–266. The storyline concludes in the following issue, Bitka za život.
