Moja rijeka
Vladimir Zobundžija collected his records about rivers. In those records, the author writes about his visions of the nature of this region, but a special feature of this prose is the meaning for the life of the waters, the shores and everything that is found in those waters. We recognize in these records the Drava, Danube, Bosut, Karašica, numerous swamps, ponds and forests. The author combines the real landscape and life of this region with his sentence. He summarized the experience of a long-time fisherman into rounded units, and individual stories are actually the shaping of his own experiences. The author loves nature, he finds in it a source for the creation of documentary prose, and the fable in the records is just the impetus for the creation of his prose text. In seven larger units, the writer builds bridges to nature. He is her companion, a man who finds plenty of motives and ways of companionship with her in nature. Water flows, seasons change, days and years wave. The author composes his notes with a fine sentence and a specific expression. He finds plenty of specific expressions of concepts and symbols. This is the exceptional value of these records, which are filled with personality as well as documents.
