Nije me strah

Nije me strah

Dubravka Pađen Farkaš

"Once upon a time there lived a very, very timid boy named Tin. That boy was really afraid of everything!” Sometimes we are all afraid of something.

Everything is hidden ONLY IN OUR HEADS. And then, when we go out into the world with our heads so full of various fears (or at least to the store located on the other side of the huge, scary park), uh... we can experience various inconveniences. To put it mildly. Then the whole world becomes a big enemy field where terrible (listed above and unlisted) enemies are lurking. Well, Dubravka Pađen-Farkaš and Dražen Jerabek write and paint about this in their latest joint picture book "I'm not afraid". And so convincingly, as if their heads were full of different fears. Just like the head of the main character of this story. In truth, that boy, named Tin, was not exactly a hero. Actually, it's not at all. At least at the beginning of the story. He was afraid of everything and anything. (His head was so full of fears!). He didn't dare go to even the most ordinary small shop! Until one day when he dared to face all his fears. (And many adults don't dare to do that either, take my word for it!) And that's how Tin, from a timid girl, became a brave one.
