Povijest plesa starih civilizacija

Povijest plesa starih civilizacija

Ana Maletić

One of the important cultural books, anthologically valuable edition for lovers and students of dance. The second volume of the book, dedicated to dance in Eastern civilizations.

The first part of the book History of Dance of Ancient Civilizations is dedicated to the study of dance in Mesopotamia, ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome, as well as the dance of the Hebrews, Etruscans and Illyrians. The author completed the manuscript of this book back in 1979, but until now it was only a part of her rich and valuable legacy stored in the Croatian State Archives. The publication of this simply and popularly written manuscript is therefore a real cultural event, since books on the subject of dance art are almost never published in Croatia.

The second volume of the book is dedicated to dance in Eastern civilizations.
