It is a collection that Robert Graves personally compiled and revised several times (first published by Penguin in 1957). It presents the author's own view of his poetic work, which spanned more than six decades.
The collection consists of poems written in prose, divided into seven thematic units.
The author uses the haiku form to express feelings, moments of silence, the changing seasons, and the transience of time in simple words.
*Selected poems* by Milan Begović were published as a regular issue of *Matica hrvatska* for 1923 (published in 1925) in Zagreb. The book presents a carefully selected cross-section of Begović's poetry from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
