Uvijek za Homerom: Malo sreće i ništa više / Odisejeva špilja

Uvijek za Homerom: Malo sreće i ništa više / Odisejeva špilja

László Krasznahorkai, Max Neumann

This is a wonderfully clever little book that challenges our expectations at every turn. For most of the story, the narrator is on the run from unnamed pursuers as he flees down the Croatian Adriatic coast.

At the invitation of his Croatian publishers from the Multimedia Institute, László Krasznahorkai visited Dalmatia (Dubrovnik, Korčula, Mljet and Split) in autumn 2016. Always for Homer, the story that Krasznahorkai wrote on that occasion, is a text inspired at the same time by the Mediterranean landscape and the works of art of the writer's friends — the drawings of the Berlin painter Max Neumann and the music of the New York drummer Eli Keszler. Both artists responded to Krasznahorkai's story by creating new works, making Always for Homer a unique triptych or ensemble of literature, painting and music.
