Četiri i po drame

Četiri i po drame

Almir Bašović

This is a collection that begins with a part of the genocide in Srebrenica, and ends with a monologue of war criminals, in which Bašović opens and closes the cycle of the war curse.

Four and a half plays is a collection of dramatic texts by the Bosnian author Almir Bašović, in which identity, trauma, family relations and social reality after the war are explored through four complete plays and one shorter, "half" dramatic text. The book is strongly marked by the contemporary Bosnian context, but the themes go beyond the local framework. The book Four and a half plays represents great significance for BiH dramatic literature, but also for the entire theater life in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
