Veliki sukob: Konačna pobjeda dobra
The book is one of the most significant works of Adventist theological thought and Christian eschatology. First published in 1888, this book has been translated into numerous languages, including Croatian, and remains relevant today.
The work depicts the centuries-old struggle between Christ and Satan, good and evil, starting from the destruction of Jerusalem, through medieval persecutions and the Reformation, and ending with modern events and prophecies about the future. White describes in detail the key moments in the history of Christianity, including the work of reformers such as Martin Luther, and analyzes the influence of different ideologies and movements on the spiritual life of humanity.
Special emphasis is placed on freedom of conscience, the importance of the Holy Scriptures, and preparation for the second coming of Christ. The author warns of spiritual dangers such as formalism, compromise, and error, and calls readers to personal faith and devotion to God.
The Great Controversy is not only a historical overview, but also a prophetic insight into future events, with the aim of encouraging believers to remain faithful to the truth and the law of God. The book ends with a vision of the final victory of good, the restoration of the world, and eternal peace.
