Sve do Srca Svijeta

Sve do Srca Svijeta

Blaise Cendrars

Blaise Cendrars (1887-1961) wove a myth around his life that does not make sense to untangle, because long before his death the myth perfectly coincided with the real person.

This book successfully "portrays" Cendrars - called the inventor of modern poetry and the Indiana Jones of French literature - in his unique combination of collages, moving images stopped in time, astronomy in chromacolor, narrative poetry, travelogues, found texts. It is enriched with the translator's notes, a chronology of the poet's travels, a selected bibliography, as well as interesting photographic contributions from the artist's album.
