General conditions

The general conditions of purchase are an integral part of the Purchase Agreement between the company Arka knjiga j. d.o.o. (Ark Books) and the customer.

All prices are expressed with VAT.

Delivery methods

We deliver the ordered items to almost all countries of the world. We deliver items in the following ways, according to the customer's choice and depending on the destination and weight of the shipment:

• Delivery (courier) service, in the form of a package
• By Post, in the form of stationery, tracked shipment or package
• Personal pickup at the Ark Books branch

Payment methods

Online payment by credit or debit card

You pay for the ordered goods by credit or debit card when creating the order.

All payment card payments will be made in euros. When debiting your credit card, the same amount is converted into your local currency according to the exchange rate of the credit card associations. As a result of this conversion, there is a possibility of a slight difference compared to the original price listed on our website.

The package arrives at your home address by delivery service. You pay the delivery person upon collection.

Cancellation of payment or order

Collection or credit card orders can be canceled by phone at +385 31 219655 or by e-mail at [email protected] within 12 hours after the order. After this period, it is not possible to cancel the order. For properly canceled credit card orders, the credit card will not be charged.

Ark Books reserves the right to change the content and prices of articles without prior notice.

Return and exchange

The ordered products will be stacked in such a way that they cannot be damaged by normal handling during transport.

The buyer is obliged to inspect the shipment during collection and if the shipment has external damage, he does not accept it but immediately returns it to the delivery person with a note that the product is damaged.

The customer has the right to cancel the order and inform us about it by e-mail: [email protected] or at the address Arka knjiga, Trg Ante Starčevića 10 (Pothodnik), 31000 Osijek, Croatia, within 15 days from the day of receipt of the shipment. You must return the received products, together with the original invoice, undamaged in the original packaging and in an unchanged quantity within 15 days from the day of receipt of the goods. Otherwise, we will not be able to accept the return. Return costs are covered by the buyer. We will return the money for the paid goods within 8 days of our receipt of the product. The cost of the refund is charged to the buyer.

If it is a cancellation of an order that does not include the return of the product but only a cash payment, the money paid will be returned to the customer within 8 days of receiving the customer's request for a refund of the amount paid.

The customer has no right to return the product in cases determined by Article 49 of the Law on Consumer Protection.

The customer has the right to exchange the delivered products in the event that the product was delivered that was not ordered or if it is a product with qualitative defects (mixed sheets, missing sheets, unprinted pages). You must return the product, together with the original receipt, undamaged in the original packaging and in the unchanged quantity together with a written complaint that must include the reason for the exchange within 8 days from the day of receipt. Otherwise, we will not be able to accept the return. The replacement costs are borne by Ark Books.
