Goli ručak je roman američkog pisca Williama S. Burroughsa iz 1959. godine. Knjiga je strukturirana kao niz labavo povezanih vinjeta, koje je Burroughs namijenio za čitanje bilo kojim redoslijedom.

"Ja nisam zabavljač... ja sam instrument za zapisivanje", zapisao je legendarni narkoman, homoseksualac, ubojica vlastite žene, ali i jedan od najvećih američkih književnika 20. stoljeća - William Seward Burroughs.

I uistinu, o knjizi poput ove u kojoj se gotovo filmski izmjenjuju iracionalno i halucinantno, homoseksualno i šokantno, apokaliptično i parodijsko, kontroverzno i inovativno... možemo reći skoro sve osim da je "zabavna". Ona se buni i opire književnim konvencijama, kritizira totalitarizam i nasilje, a upravo zaglušujuće vrišti protiv droge i narkomanije.

Iako knjiga kao i autor, na žalost (a možda i na sreću!), nikad nisu imali podršku akademske kritike, brojni ugledni štovatelji među književnicima i rock glazbenicima priskrbili su im kultni status. Goli ručak se i danas smatra "autentičnim remek-djelom", dok je Gentleman junkie, kako su zvali tog "gurua beat generacije" - uvelike utjecao i na kasniju rock generaciju.
