This work is part of Steiner's lectures, which are aimed at understanding man as a being that encompasses physical, spiritual and cosmic aspects.

In the book, Steiner explains that man's physical constitution is not only biological or material, but is the result of a complex interaction of spiritual and cosmic forces. Each of these aspects work in harmony to create a complete human being.

The author investigates how the human physical structure is the result of spiritual evolution, where past stages of consciousness and cosmic development shaped the current constitution.
