Žuna na telefonu
Žuna na telefonu by Vjekoslav Majer is a collection of children's poems that, through gentle verses and rich illustrations by Zdenka Pozaić, explores nature, animals, children's games, and everyday situations from a child's perspective.
Majer uses simple language and rhythmic verses to bring poetry closer to the youngest, encouraging them to think and develop empathy for the world around them. One of the poems, "Moon", depicts the moon, hidden in the grass, waiting for the right time to appear to the world, symbolizing children's curiosity and anticipation. Such motifs are present throughout the collection, creating a warm and imaginative atmosphere that reflects a child's view of the world.
"Žuna na telefonu" is not only a collection of poems, but also a precious piece of Croatian children's literature that still finds its way to young readers today.
