Fra Martin respected the old literary custom of writing Commemorative Works on the occasion of important historical events or of honoring important people who were respected in the society of the time with Honorary Works.

This book contains 7 texts by the author, and the most important part is the poetic biography The Life of Fra Marijan Šunjić, which Fra Martin composed in nine cantos, and dedicated to the then bishop Fra Marijan Šunjić, his teacher of oriental languages.
