Anna, Henrik and Milena enjoy their traditional trip to the north of Sweden every year. Anna and Henrik cannot refuse when Milena wants her boyfriend Jacob to come with them this time. The trip quickly turns into a nightmare, and the decision to take Jacob will change their lives forever: he insists that they head to Sarek, a rugged mountain area, where there is no network or signal, and which is only suitable for experienced hikers. And as tensions between them grow and the journey becomes more and more difficult, Anna cannot help but feel that she knows Jacob from somewhere.
