What it's like to grow up in a family where roles are mixed up, can be told by teenager Viktorija, who sometimes acts as a mom to her mother. How is that possible?
In today's world, parents can often be immature and unrealistic, chasing false values and unrealized dreams, despite the fact that their families are falling apart. Viktorija's mother is chasing the happiness she thinks will open up for her outside of "this damn Balkans" and outside of her current family, husband and daughter. She asks Viktorija to go with her. She doesn't want to. Viktorija is a mature, determined, smart high school student with clear opinions. And her father gives her a lesson: "Never take happiness for granted... or misfortune."
