Der Autor verwendet die Haiku-Form, um Gefühle, Momente der Stille, den Wechsel der Jahreszeiten und die Vergänglichkeit der Zeit in einfachen Worten auszudrücken.

Die Sammlung enthält häufig Naturmotive wie Blumen, Vögel, Regen, Sonne und Wind. Durch diese Bilder spricht die Dichterin von Frieden, Stille, Freude und innerer Ausgeglichenheit. Haiku-Gedichte sind kurz und prägnant, regen aber den Leser zum Nachdenken und zum bewussten Erleben des Augenblicks an. Die Autorin schreibt in einem sanften und schlichten Stil, ganz im Sinne der traditionellen japanischen Haiku-Dichtung. Sie betont, wie Schönheit im Alltäglichen und in alltäglichen Erfahrungen zu finden ist. Die Sammlung wirkt beruhigend und meditative und ermutigt dazu, innezuhalten und die Welt um sich herum aufmerksamer wahrzunehmen.
