The book begins with basic concepts of general pathology, such as inflammation, cell damage, circulatory disorders, and tumors. It then moves on to systemic pathology, where diseases are analyzed according to organ systems (heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, and others). Special importance is given to understanding pathophysiological processes, that is, how and why changes occur in tissues and organs and how they are manifested in clinical symptoms. The work connects theoretical knowledge with medical practice.
