"Pathological basis of disease" is one of the most important medical textbooks in the field of general and systemic pathology.
The book begins with basic concepts of general pathology, such as inflammation, cell damage, circulatory disorders, and tumors. It then moves on to systemic pathology, where diseases are analyzed according to organ systems (heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, and others). Special importance is given to understanding pathophysiological processes, that is, how and why changes occur in tissues and organs and how they are manifested in clinical symptoms.
