CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY DURING THE GLOBAL FINANCIAL CRISIS The global recession, also known as the Great Recession, the European debt crisis and the Croatian "debt slavery", each in its own way, are the result of various forms of personal and collective social irresponsibility: of statesmen, politicians, financial experts, stock market speculators, bankers, entrepreneurs, managers, leaders and "supervisors" of large multinational corporations, journalists, but also citizens inclined to live on debt and credit.
