The series of assessments and ideas listed here are a reflection of many years of dealing with economic science and contemporary political and economic developments in Croatian society, both personal and the ideas of a number of collaborators with whom Dr. Đ. Njavro constantly exchanges experiences and knowledge about the economic development of the world and domestic economy. From the preface: The world economy is changing faster and faster, and for a long time the only constant in it is the speed of changes for which young people in Croatia must be trained in order to be able to deal equally with their peers from other countries, with whom they will do business. Such training and development of domestic knowledge and incorporation of business values ​​into the education of young people is a task and mission that I have been engaged in for years. I believe that in this we have largely laid the foundations for successful teaching for future generations. Throughout my entire professional life, I have advocated for morality in politics and economics in Croatia to be affirmed as a permanent standard. Although we started from a difficult legacy from the era of communist economy and society and from a destroyed economy, I believe that we will succeed in preserving and improving Croatia in the conditions of fierce international competition. We must preserve the great wealth of our country for new generations of young people, and prepare them for life in conditions of constant innovations and major changes in the world economy - which also affect our homeland.
