Maya

The story begins with the meeting of the Norwegian writer John Spook and the Spanish biologist Frank Andrado in the Maldives. Frank ponders the mystery of evolution, while John writes about questions of purpose and meaning in human existence. Their conversations touch on scientific and philosophical topics, such as the theory of evolution and the question of whether life has a universal purpose.
