The book contains poems, stories and passages written by well-known authors of children's literature, and was inspired by the work of Jovan Jovanović Zmaj, one of the most important Serbian children's poets, in the children's magazine "Neven".

This collection brings a variety of texts from "Neven", full of imagination, cheerfulness and life lessons, which deal with themes such as friendship, love, honesty and patriotism. The texts were chosen to stimulate children's curiosity, develop a sense of beauty and teach them important life values.

Krstić's selection emphasizes the importance of Dragon's Legacy in children's literature, and the book remains a favorite read among young readers. "The Dragon's Treasury" represents the wealth of children's literature and preserves the spirit of classic stories and songs for new generations.
