Muškarac i frigidnost u žene
Marijan Košiček's book deals with the issue of female sexual difficulties, especially so-called "frigidity", from the perspective of partner relationships and the social context of the time.
Košiček starts from the idea that “frigidity” is not exclusively a woman’s problem, but often stems from the relationship between partners, especially from the behavior and misunderstanding of the man. He emphasizes that female sexuality is complex and strongly connected to the emotional state, sense of security and quality of communication in the relationship. The author criticizes the social norms of the time that suppressed female sexuality and created false expectations – for example, that women should be passive or that sexual pleasure is less important for them. Such attitudes, according to Košiček, lead to problems in sexual functioning.
