Deseti studijski album Robbieja Williamsa iz 2013. donosi spoj obrada swing klasika i autorskih pjesama, uz zapažene duete s zvijezdama poput Lily Allen, Michaela Bubléa i Ollyja Mursa.

Album Swings Both Ways objavljen je u studenom 2013. u izdanju etikete Island Records kao izravni duhovni nasljednik njegova iznimno uspješnog izdanja Swing When You're Winning iz 2001. godine. Robbie Williams na ovom izdanju ponovno spaja tradicionalni džez i swing s pristupačnim pop senzibilitetom, ponudivši slušateljima kombinaciju osvježenih obrada bezvremenskih standarda i potpuno novog autorskog materijala.

Produkciju albuma potpisuje njegov dugogodišnji suradnik Guy Chambers, čime je ponovno uspostavljena prepoznatljiva autorska kemija. Poseban pečat izdanju daju atraktivne duetne suradnje: Robbie pjeva s Michaelom Bubléom u naslovnoj pjesmi Swings Both Ways, s Lily Allen izvodi Dream A Little Dream, s Ollyjem Mursom I Wan'na Be Like You, dok se na albumu pojavljuju i Kelly Clarkson te Rufus Wainwright.
