Tartarinova trilogija

Tartarinova trilogija

Alphonse Daudet

Of the three novels of the trilogy about a typical southern ravisher, the first part of The Wonderful Adventure of Tartarino Tarasconca is undoubtedly the best. Already in that first part, Daudet completely characterized his hero and the middle-class society of a small southern town, describing them with a lot of humor, but also sympathy, as people who, like the southern sun, are inflamed by imagination.
