Boriti se i ljubiti

Boriti se i ljubiti

Anselm Grün

The book tries to contribute to the solution of the problem of the man's identity crisis that has been felt in the last 20 years or so, i.e. since the self-awareness of women has developed stronger and the extremely patriarchal understanding of the role o

He consciously observes this problem from two perspectives: modern psychology and the biblical perspective. The first is generally manifested in a qualified breakdown of the issue and permeation of the text with what psychologists of various schools have said on the subject. The second is represented in the form of eighteen biblical male characters, from Adam, through some Old Testament actors, to Jesus, who are presented according to the main and, as the author will emphasize in the introduction, archetypal (in the psychological sense of C. G. Jung) features. The author emphasizes that he is speaking as a man addressing men, and his wish and hope is that the man, the reader, will find in the biblical archetypes the one who speaks to him best and opens the way to getting to know his own masculinity and its power with which he is able to transform the world for the better.
