Zagor LU #360: Iz drevne prošlosti
A mysterious metal sphere recovered after a flood sends Professor Verybad and Zagor on an investigation recalling a dangerous alien discovery from their past.
An unusual metal sphere, recovered from flood debris, is displayed as a curiosity in the saloon of Shelford, a remote Darkwood settlement. Professor Verybad suspects a connection with an alien machine discovered years earlier, buried in the Gray Mountains. The possibility of an old danger returning prompts him to ask Zagor to accompany him to Shelford.
Da un antico passato turns the examination of an unfamiliar object into a science-fiction mystery. Verybad wants to test his theory, while Zagor has good reason to take the memory of their earlier experience seriously. What entertains the saloon’s visitors may be a warning to the two men.
Jacopo Rauch brings frontier life into contact with traces of technology of unknown origin. The script draws on earlier events in the series, while Raffaele Della Monica illustrates the transition from familiar surroundings into an adventure marked by unease and uncertainty.
The story continues in La porta dei mondi. Together, these issues will appeal to readers who enjoy Zagor’s encounters with alien phenomena and dangers beyond the boundaries of the familiar world.
