Biblika: Društveno i povijesno putovanje biblijskim krajevima

An international team of experts from the world's prestigious universities (Oxford, Cambridge, Yale, Tel Aviv) helped bring the world of the Bible to life in an exceptional way through clear texts, detailed maps, map legends, tables, an index... and many artistic representations of biblical events. Biblika does not deal with theological interpretations of the Bible, but from a scientific aspect - historical, geographical, archaeological, ethnological and cultural, and explains biblical events and actions of individual biblical figures, presents archaeological discoveries and historical evidence that in most cases confirm biblical records.

The last two chapters talk about the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, they represent the entire socio-historical context in which he lived and acted, as well as the origin and spread of Christianity. At the end, the genealogies of all the rulers and an overview of all the empires, kingdoms and dynasties mentioned in the Bible are given, as well as the genealogy of Jesus, the table of the Ten Commandments...

In this way, Biblica bridges the chronological, cultural and geographical gap between today's reader and the biblical world and helps us understand many events and get to know the personalities that are at the basis of understanding the entire European culture and civilization.
