Teološka bilježnica - Svijet kroz teološke oči

Ivica Šola

The book is a comprehensive publicistic work in the form of essays in which social, religious, political and media phenomena are read in the manner of theological hermeneutics, through the prism of a theological eye. It is composed of five chapters.

The work is structured in five chapters:

  1. Theological-Philosophical Essays – analyzes the relationship between religion and culture in a postmodern context, with an emphasis on the influence of the media in shaping the perception of the world and the need for new approaches to evangelization.

  2. Church, Religions, Society – considers the role of the Church and religion in contemporary society, including the challenges of secularization and interreligious dialogue.

  3. On the Edges of Ethics and Politics – deals with ethical issues in a political context, exploring the moral dilemmas and values that shape public discourse.

  4. Reflections on Europe – reflects on the identity of Europe, globalization, and the cultural changes that affect European society.

  5. Phenomena of the Psyche in a Depsychized Time – explores psychological aspects of contemporary life, including alienation and spiritual emptiness.

Šola uses theological hermeneutics to interpret current events, encouraging the reader to a deeper understanding of the world through the prism of faith and ethics. The book is intended for a wider audience interested in a theological perspective on contemporary challenges.
