Supruge i ljubavnice

Milana Vuković Runjić

In the book "Wives and Lovers", Milana Vuković Runjić examines questions that have always plagued the human race, and they concern what the ancient Greeks called frenzy - namely love.

When she writes about sex and when she writes about pure sensitivity, she tries to avoid clichés: the so-called war of the sexes, the division into positives and negatives in love relationships, as well as the pathos that we tend to resort to in almost every extreme situation.

The author is not afraid to write about sexuality, she is ready to step into any topic, no matter how tricky it may be, but at the same time she tries not to fall into the trap of vulgarity, because a writer should write about sex as well as everything else, with a certain skill in handling the right words.

Milana Vuković Runjić's columns about love and sex were published in Zagreb's Globus, but also in Slovenia's Delo, Believer magazine from Los Angeles, and the Italian magazine Internazionale. in which world-famous authors such as Noam Chomsky and Nick Hornby write.
