The Return of Filip Latinovicz is one of Miroslav Krleža's most famous novels. This novel is significant in our literature because it is considered the first fully modern Croatian novel.
In the small village of Sowerbridge in Hampshire, elderly woman Lavinia Fanshaw and her carer Dorothy Jenkins were brutally murdered.
The novel "Branka" by August Šenoa was published in 1881 and is one of his best-known works, set in the context of Croatian society in the 19th century.
