The spear of Longinus or the spear of fate is the tool with which the Roman officer Longinus (later a saint) pierced the side of Christ on Calvary. From that moment on, occult properties were attributed to the famous Christian relic.
The book describes the fates of numerous historical greats who owned spears, and the ways in which they changed history for good or evil. Most of the book is about Adolf Hitler, who supported his political goals with the practice of black magic.
