Putopisi

Putopisi

Antun Gustav Matoš

This book includes Matoš's travelogues and feuilleton texts on various topics, including politics, painting and literature.

These texts were originally published in numerous periodicals, mostly in Zagreb and Belgrade. Later, in more or less modified versions, they were included in the books "Vidici i putovi" (1907) and "Naši ljudi i krajje" (1910), where Matoš collected his most mature and artistically effective feuilleton notes and travel essays. This collection provides an insight into Matoš's diverse literary production and his passion for traveling and observing the world around him.
