The Euphrasian Basilica in Poreč is one of the most significant achievements of early Byzantine art of the 6th century. In addition to the basilica with the memorial chapel, the building complex also includes the baptistery, the atrium and the bishop's palace. The basilica is especially famous for its mosaics, the beauty of which can be seen by looking at the reproductions printed in this monograph.
