Fahrenheit 451

Fahrenheit 451

Ray Bradbury

"Fahrenheit 451" is a classic novel of the post-literary future. Along with Orwell's "1984" and Huxley's "Brave New World," it is another prophetic version of the fate of Western Civilization.

Fahrenheit 451 - is the temperature at which paper ignites and burns. Guy Montag is a fireman, and his job is to burn books that are banned because they cause discord and unhappiness. There is also a mechanical dog of the Firehouse, armed with a lethal needle, accompanied by a helicopter, which follows dissidents who defy society, standing guard and reading books.
