O toleranciji: Koliko smo tolerantni u obitelji, na poslu, u društvu

O toleranciji: Koliko smo tolerantni u obitelji, na poslu, u društvu

Mirjana Krizmanić

The fact that tolerance is talked about a lot, but too little is known, prompted me to reconsider tolerance in the daily life of each of us and society as a whole.

In her latest book "On tolerance", the distinguished Croatian psychologist Mirjana Krizmanić deals with tolerance and intolerance and the consequent tolerance and civility as factors that depend on how tolerant someone will be or not. As it seems, one often overestimates one's own tolerance and underestimates other people's tolerance, which can be corrected to a certain extent by getting to know oneself and other people better, as well as by teaching children and young people. In this way, one gains control over one's own behavior and creates the foundations for the development of tolerance.

One of the goals of this book is to stimulate thinking about one's own tolerance and to offer ways to encourage one's own tolerant behavior.
