100 svjetskih romana: Očevi i djeca

Ivan Sergejevič Turgenjev

Roman je objavljen 1862. godine i u njemu se Turgenjev bavi arhetipskim odnosom mladog i starog, prošlosti i budućnosti, starih i novih vrednosti Rusije sredinom 19. veka.

Roman Očevi i sinovi (1862) jedno je od najznačajnijih dela ruskog realizma i klasične književnosti uopšte. U njemu Ivan Sergejevič Turgenjev prikazuje društvene promene u Rusiji sredinom 19. veka, kroz generacijski sukob između konzervativnih „očeva“ i radikalnih „sinova“. Ključni motiv dela je kontrast između tradicionalnih vrednosti i novog, nihilističkog pogleda na svet.
