Maigret u baru "Picratt"

Maigret u baru "Picratt"

George Simenon

A tipsy cabaret dancer from the Picratt nightclub entered the police station and excitedly announced that she had heard two men at the next table in the bar conspire to kill a countess, an unknown countess.

One of the two criminals was called Oscar. As a number of similar fabricated reports arrive every day, the police did not attach any importance to this one either. However, events have shown that it might be better to take all false and fabricated reports seriously, than to miss a real one.
